What is the Mystery Hunt?

The Mystery Hunt is an interactive murder mystery where you follow clues, complete missions, and try to uncover who is guilty. You progress through the story at your own pace and use the game materials and your surroundings to find the answers.

How does a mystery work?

You can choose between the booklet and the digital game. The story and the tasks are the same. With the booklet, you get the materials on paper; in the digital version, you have everything you need for the investigation on your phone. Solve puzzles, search for clues, and examine the evidence until you can identify the culprit.

The craftsmanship behind

Creating a new mystery takes an average of two months. We always start on location: we go to the city and look for settings, buildings, and details that can carry the story. Then we delve into the city's history, so that each mystery has a clear local connection.

The creation itself takes about a month. When the first draft is ready, we return to the city and play through the entire mystery on location. Then we adjust the route, clues, difficulty level, and story.

Finally, several selected groups conduct pilot runs. We collect their feedback, fix what needs improvement, and do not release the mystery until the entire experience is polished. From the first city visit to the finished mystery, the process takes about two months.

It was so much fun, and I saw the charming streets of Gamla Stan in a new way. I stopped to look around instead of just passing through. 🤩

Fun and pleasant to stroll around Gamla Stan and collect clues. Easy to understand what to do. Finished with lunch at Café Cronan and figured out who the murderer was. We were right, of course :)
Can highly recommend this.

Fun idea and a pleasant walk, but I would have liked slightly more challenging tasks. It took less than an hour even though we tried to take it easy.

It was so much fun. We did forget to click on the info that was there before we wrote down the name of who we thought was guilty. But I read out the 6 statements but none of them had we actually registered. We went with our "female" intuition and guessed right anyway. Hope you come up with more such fun mysteries.

It was fun, and you discover a few new things that you would otherwise walk past. I would have liked to do something similar, but without needing a fully charged phone to move forward and get stories with clues. Maybe something to think about for a new mystery. I’m going to do another mystery with other people—it was so much fun, and we got a good walk in back and forth.

Haven't had a chance to use Mysteriet yet, but my experience of how helpful you were when I hadn't received a receipt showing that I had paid was absolutely fantastic, and I felt so secure in my purchase. I can highly recommend you as a company and am really looking forward to my team doing Mysteriet in Haga.
