Before you head out

Good to know

Most things are up to you. Here are the answers to questions that often come up before you begin.

Do we need to book a time?

No. Once you have the booklet, start whenever it suits you and adapt the activity to the day, weather and your group.

How many people can play together?

We recommend 2–4 people per booklet. Larger groups can split into teams and race to solve the case first.

Can children take part?

Yes. Many mysteries are great for families. Younger children may need help from an adult, but solving the clues together is part of the fun.

What if we get stuck?

The material includes hints and instructions to help you. The mystery should be challenging, but you should always be able to move on.
